A few weeks ago I had the chance to tail six composers at PRS for Music immersing themselves in various business development seminars and composition workshops.
It was an invigorating experience. The energy to tap into when you’re in the company of so many creative personalities, fuelled by an air of positivity and determination, is quite addictive.
I came away from the experience with a renewed sense of energy, reminded that the distance between writers, podcasters, videographers and composers isn’t really all that different. We all speak the same language even if we create using entirely different ones.
The workshop podcast was a joy to make and is, though I say it myself, a pleasure to listen back. But the video below – released today – about the weekend is something I’m really pleased with. A reminder of a very special experience, reinforcing my own thinking about the creative process.
