Eurovision Young Musicians 2018: Finalists Predictions & Results

This has been an unexpectedly engaging competition. I was bracing myself for it to be rather lame.

All performers met an assumed standard; some exceeded my expectations. In that way EYM has done better than in previous years.

And importantly, in presentation terms the pared back sophisticated approach has been pleasingly deferential and uncomplicated. So far so good. This could change come the final broadcast on Thursday, I imagine.
