20 recommended concerts at St John’s Smith Square – September 2016 to May 2017

The 2016/17 season of concerts at St John’s Smith Square in London was unveiled earlier this week.

There are over 300 concerts to choose from covering historically informed baroque and classical music concerts, plus an interesting series of Young Artist’s concerts, and a handful of participatory events too.

St John’s Smith Square Artistic Director Richard Heason, plus pianist Christina McMaster and conductor Stephen Layton feature in episode 5 of the Thoroughly Good Podcast.

A big pat on the back for St John’s Smith Square’s marketing department. Their utterly gorgeous season brochure combines a sophisticated layout with an intoxicating aroma of printer ink. A stylish achievement that puts this publication in the top five of UK classical music print in the UK.
